We have fun learning about God’s love!
It is our prayer that kids witness the love of Christ through their teachers as they establish a strong foundation for becoming Christians and growing as disciples. We believe parents are called by God to be the primary disciplers of their kids. All of our family ministries flow out of this conviction.
Nursery
Our nursery for kids under the age of 2 is staffed with loving people who look forward to caring for children each week. It is available during the service times on Sunday mornings and Bible Institute on Sunday evenings. Our secure check-in system makes drop-off and pick-up easy and worry-free!
Kids Town
Kids Town is our environment for pre-school kids to learn about Jesus, His Word, and His love for them in a way that they can understand. Kids Town is located in the lower level of the Ablaze Room, and is available during both Sunday School and the Worship Gathering.
Elementary Sunday school
Kids Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in the Ablaze Room. Parents should pick up their children at 10:00 am following their Adult class. All of our Sunday School classes, 2 years old to adults, teach a unified curriculum so every member of the family is learning about the same topic, in an age-appropriate way.
Children’s CHurch
In Children’s Church, our Kindergarten – 3rd Grade kids learn about Jesus, His Word, and His love for them in a fun environment designed just for them. Kids should start the Worship Gathering with their parents, then are dismissed to Children’s Church in the Ablaze Room. Parents should pick up their children following the Worship Gathering.
The Vine
The Vine is a program designed to teach kids 2 years old through 5th grade about God and His Word by interacting with them in a fun environment. We will engage the kids through curriculum that is Gospel-centered, using catechism to teach sound theology, and encouraging weekly Bible memory. For more info contact Liz Phillips. Child Safety
Parkside Bible Church has established policies and procedures to assure a safe and secure environment for each of the children to whom we minister. Maintaining this high level of safety and security requires the cooperation of parents, staff and volunteers. All of our children’s workers have undergone criminal background checks and regularly receive training about our child and youth protection policy. What is the Vine?
The Vine is a Sunday evening Bible Club for Elementary age children Kindergarten-5th grade. During the Vine we play games, do a craft/activity, learn a Bible Lesson, sing worship songs, and memorize a scripture passage.
Where do I drop off my child for the Vine?
Please go to the Bethesda High School gym next door to Parkside Bible Church. One of our Vine Team Leaders will be there to greet your family and help you get checked in.
